I mentioned the game in the video dedicated to the releases for the month of July, and as promised, Union of Gnomes, an intriguing Roguelite Deckbuilder, is now available in Early Access on PC through Steam. Its originality mainly lies in its setting, heroes, and enemies.
As the title clearly indicates, the player leads an army of Gnomes, though it’s more of a guerrilla group rather than a traditional army, in an attempt to free their race from well-known oppressors like Snow White, Pinocchio, the Wizard of Oz, and many others. This might slightly confuse your little ones…
In any case, Union of Gnomes combat system includes deckbuilding mechanics, with the player navigating the game world through nodes where events and encounters lie. It features a colorful and fun graphic style and plenty of content to unlock. Below is the launch trailer.
