And more…

  • Fine and high precision regulation with 1mmHg of precision
  • Over pressure free due to sophisticated electronic and proportional regulation of overpressures
  • Easy and free software updates to newest versions
  • Easy preventive maintenance on site due to a maintenance tool box connected to the device
  • Friendly interface and easy to use

UNMATCHED SAFETY FEATURES

Multiple mechanical safety valve

  • Limiter at 3,8 bar (55 PSI) and 0,26 bars (4 PSI) entrance pressure in the insufflator
  • Pressure release at 155 mmHg (3 PSI) and 77 mmHg (1,5 PSI) operating without power
  • Safety electrovalves for virtual colonoscopy and and for optical colonoscopy and intussusception

Safe pressure management

  • Constant pressure and constant temperature of the CO2
  • The system offers fast, instantaneous and progressive release of over pressure through a proportional electronic valveand a second high release valve for high overpressure (contractions or change of position of the patient)

Sensor Monitoring

For added safety, the VMX-1020A has a built in multiple pressure sensors with constant electronic monitoring, which

HEATING SYSTEM

PATENTED

LESS PRESSURE NEEDED, SAFER OPERATION

Our advanced heating system can heat the CO2 up to 38,5°C in order to relax the colon muscles.
According to clinical trials, heating the colon relaxes the muscles and helps the distension. The consequence is that you need can set less pressure for the same distention. Setting less pressure is safer and more comfortable for the patient.

BUSCOPAN NO LONGER REQUIRED

With the heating system of the VMX-1020A, you will no longer need Buscopan injection.
Getting ride of Buscopan injection is a key safety feature for patients, as it has a long list of side effects that can be very severe.  It also allows the patient to drive his car home immediately after the exam, which is not recommended after a Buscopan injection.

OVERPRESSURE FREE

Over pressure free due to sophisticated electronic and proportional regulation of overpressures..

Overpressures often generate spasms and the consequence is that segments of the colon are contracting. You have irregular distension and some collapsed segments that will be very difficult to analyze during the diagnostic. VMX-1020A has a proportional real-time multi-valves system to prevent over pressures and to prevent spasms.
